Studio Wes Founder and Creative Director, Annie Fultz, began the Studio with 10+ years of experience in design research, graphic design, and brand direction. Her past work focused largely on reimagining brands and design systems within the hospitality, fashion, and nonprofit industries, as well as developing placemaking strategies within local communities. Her experience includes a Masters in Design from the University of Notre Dame, as well as years of freelance design and marketing work for companies such as StudioNorth, Plant Chicago, The Institute for Nonviolence, our U.S Refugee Resettlement Agencies, Levi’s, Lee Denim, LinkedIn, Lenovo, and Bomber Ski.
What started as a project to re-imagine the brand of an incredible wedding planning and design company in Southwest Michigan, eventually led to Annie joining the team full-time to take on the design and execution of the team’s luxury weddings. Within this role, she witnessed both the beautiful parts of the industry and the hard, messy, and outdated parts.
With the goal of creating a planning and design experience centered on intentionally, collaboration, and meaningful experiences, Studio Wes was born. It is our deep pleasure to provide couples a space and service that feels authentic to the heart of a wedding day — their love, lasting union, and the people and spaces most meaningful to them along the way.
